What do units pay for?
Measurement and forecasting use no units. Units are spent only on jobs you start or schedule. The Professional plan includes 270 units a month; if the pool runs out, buy one-time extra units, about $0.07 each, 250 credits cost $17.50, and they never expire.

Brand comparisons use 3 units per brand. Each source you add to a Perception Radar scan (Instagram, app reviews, forums, product reviews) adds 3 to 30 units depending on the source. A 30-slide report uses 7 units. For larger agent jobs, the estimated units are shown and your approval is asked before they start. Rank tracking, AI visibility checks, site crawl and trend tracking do not use the pool.

You choose the engines and the refresh speed
Your monthly check balance is fixed, and you decide how to spend it. Pick fewer engines or a slower refresh and the same plan covers more prompts. Changes apply from the next month. Google AI Overviews is the most economical engine.
